00 / BEFORE THE PULL

Record your route.

This companion assumes the base mechanics in the Normal guide. The first branch gets an overhead targeting laser. Each subsequent branch inherits only the preceding boss’s mechanic: Epoptes passes Detain Seekers, Iatros passes fourth-pulse suspension, and Agraios passes a sightline timer you reset with cover. Record the actual order for Koregos.

Teaching route: Epoptes → Iatros → Agraios. Assign one countdown caller and a backup for every specialist.

01 / EPIC

Epoptes, Lord of Quanta

Relay the eye call through the doorway.

Encounter list ↑
Epoptes: hydra arena
Epoptes: hydra arenaBungie · Destinypedia

Encounter sequence

  1. Establish the relay

Take each side plate as an inside/outside pair. Inside stays in the Lens light; outside follows the moving light. Inside calls two lit positions to their own outside operator, who shoots both on the entrance panel. Outside calls the relit position to the opposite inside player, who shoots that Lens eye.

  2. Clear and collapse

Destroy Detain Seekers between eye calls; teammates must free anyone detained. After the fourth eye, use the Normal guide’s Function Collapse triangle procedure. Refresh buffs, finish the remaining eyes and center, then break the central shield.

  3. Keep damage open

Selected pairs teleport into side rooms. Follow the light, break six outer eyes and the center, return, then shoot the highlighted central eyes. The other players keep damaging and clear Seekers. Repeat for each selected pair.

If the attempt breaks down

A stalled relay usually means someone shot the entrance panel instead of the Lens, or sent the final call to their own side.

Iatros, Inward-Turned

Re-read your assignment after every successful volley.

Encounter list ↑
Iatros: cavern arena
Iatros: cavern arenaBungie · Destinypedia

Encounter sequence

  1. Charge in pairs

Learn the Minotaur drop colors by region. Use an Oculus pool to read the spinning ring; deposit two matching Chronons together. Re-read and repeat until six are deposited. Record the three-color sequence for damage, then shoot the diamond.

  2. Assign the towers

Only shooters take buffs. Constant works Cave, Absolute works Spawn, and Cyclical works Stairs. Assign the climber’s three capsule positions to named shooters before starting. Red means bottom box, white middle, blue top.

  3. Climb and reassign

Shoot the called boxes together on the fourth Diastole pulse, jumping to avoid suspension. The climber advances and interacts at each tier. Shooters check their current buff after successful volleys and change towers when it changes. Finish all three tiers.

  4. Extend damage

Runners repeat the recorded color sequence. Keep jumping on the fourth pulse and clear inherited Seekers if Epoptes was the previous boss.

If the attempt breaks down

Do not give the climber a fourth plate buff. Check current Temporality rather than staying at the tower you started on.

Agraios, Inherent

Separate fixed portal requirements from changing pickup sources.

Encounter list ↑
Agraios: arena
Agraios: arenaBungie · Destinypedia

Encounter sequence

  1. Map the five rings

Number the rings together. A center-hoop deposit briefly reveals which portals require that Chronon color. Wait for the center to stop glowing before the next read. The distribution is two, two, one. Center deposits change Minotaur drop colors; the portal solution stays fixed.

  2. Charge and align

Charge all five with matching colors, defeat the Wyverns, then take three different Temporalities. The matching holder aligns under the named copy; the other holders call the four safe rings. Carriers recharge those rings with their recorded colors.

  3. Reflect and damage

Use the Normal guide’s five-ring traversal, detain and bait sequence to reflect the shot. Damage the unnamed copy; bring ranged weapons for its elevated positions. Repeat reflections as Alignment returns.

  4. Finish the copies

At final stand, form three matching-buff pairs. Each pair defeats its corresponding headless copy, then everyone damages the center boss.

If the attempt breaks down

If a farm spot changes color, update the pickup source, not the recorded portal requirement.

Carry knowledge and Undoing across three timelines.

THE KERNEL / EPIC

Reset → recover → advance

  1. Room one
  2. Echo one + room two
  3. Echoes one and two + room three
  4. Damage → ascent → final stand

Encounter sequence; not an arena map.

Encounter sequence

  1. Establish the first reset

The Banished pair enters the same portal and clears its Cyclops; outside players clear the exit Cyclops. Each of the other four uses a different central cube. In this opening loop, take the marked room’s buff and resolve its Locus without a full room puzzle. Record the central canister color before the reset.

  2. Open the next room

Repeat the Banishment split. The assigned room pair kills the Imp. Outside players set the canister to the saved color, defeat the Wyvern, deposit its four Chronons and shoot the hoop’s diamond. Clear the exit Cyclops. The room pair completes its puzzle and echo (below).

  3. Break the Locus

Matching Temporality interacts with the outer shell; an unbuffed player shoots the exposed core. Preserve Undoing from the room echo. After the first two rooms, use the short damage window, record the next canister color and move clear of the center for the reset.

  4. Resolve returning echoes first

On later timelines, Undoing holders kill their returning echoes. Assign different final-blow owners so the team retains the needed Temporalities. Reopen the earlier Loci and break their cores before advancing the new room. Timeline two repeats one echo; timeline three repeats two.

  5. Damage after room three

Move to the raised damage area. Keep the matching-buff opener / unbuffed core-breaker pairing available for each new crystal. Read buffs again after every break; they can change. Damage between immunity gates.

  6. Climb to the finish

At the new rally, assign a six-player cube order before killing the Harpy. Enter the portal together. Each player clears Banishment with a separate cube while the team moves up the platforms. Use the catch-up lift if needed.

  7. Complete final stand

Open shells with matching Temporality and shoot cores while unbuffed. Repeat through immunity and final stand while handling returning boss mechanics. After the health bar empties, leave the collapsing platform.

Room reference

Epoptes / Constant
Compare blue paths between the two views. The partner climbs the shared path and interacts with its node; Constant breaks the Lens center. Defeat the echo.
Iatros / Cyclical
Both take the buff. Clear each pair of boxes together on Diastole four, progressing through three tiers. Clear Seekers between tiers, then defeat the echo.
Agraios / Absolute
The buffed reader calls the three-eye order; the unbuffed partner shoots it. Defeat the echo and exit Cyclops.
If the attempt breaks down

A missing next Imp can mean an earlier echo or Locus is unresolved. Check Undoing, final-blow ownership, opened shells and destroyed cores before repeating the room.
